| This series of shots were taken from the observation deck (103rd
floor) of the Sears Tower.
Looking northeast - my personal favorite of this series. I like how it has a comic-book or SimCity type of feel to it, yet looks real at the same time. Tripods are not allowed on the observation deck so HDR shots require some kind of balancing on a ledge, which is what is what you see at the lower right. Not entirely sure what the source of the banding is but I would guess it is the combined product of the HDR merge. |
